TRT International at Breakbulk Americas 2026: Building Connections and Celebrating Industry Recognition

TRT International was proud to participate in Breakbulk Americas 2026 in Houston, Texas, one of the leading industry events bringing together professionals from across the breakbulk, project cargo, heavy haul, transportation, maritime, and logistics sectors.

The two-day event provided an excellent opportunity for our team to connect face-to-face with customers, partners, carriers, industry colleagues, and new contacts from across the United States and around the world.

From the bustling TRT International booth to the packed show floor, Breakbulk Americas was filled with great energy, meaningful conversations, and valuable connections. Throughout the event, our team met with companies involved in complex cargo movements and discussed the challenges that come with transporting oversized, overweight, out-of-gauge, breakbulk, and specialized freight.

For TRT International, events like Breakbulk Americas are about more than showcasing services. They provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships, learn more about the needs of our customers, exchange ideas with other industry professionals, and demonstrate how our team can support complex logistics projects from beginning to end.

Showcasing TRT International’s Project Cargo Capabilities

Breakbulk Americas was also an opportunity to highlight the extensive capabilities TRT International has developed to support specialized and project cargo.

With operations in the Port Newark/New York–New Jersey market and the Savannah, Georgia market, TRT International provides customers with access to transportation, drayage, warehousing, transloading, heavy haul, and specialized cargo-handling solutions.

Our fleet includes more than 85 trucks and over 300 company-owned chassis, along with specialized transportation equipment including RGNs, lowboys, flatbeds, step decks, and perimeter deck trailers.

Our operations are further supported by heavy-duty cargo-handling equipment, including forklifts designed for demanding industrial cargo and several 55-ton reach stackers.

These capabilities allow our team to coordinate a wide range of cargo, from containers and standard freight to heavy machinery, industrial equipment, oversized components, out-of-gauge shipments, and complex project cargo.

Every specialized shipment presents a different set of requirements. Successful execution depends on careful planning, communication, the proper equipment, and an experienced team coordinating each stage of the move.

A Special Moment for TRT International: Tyler Mitnik Named a 2026 NextWave 30 Under 30 Winner

Breakbulk Americas 2026 was particularly special for our team because Tyler Mitnik, Senior Logistics Account Executive at TRT International, was recognized as a 2026 Breakbulk NextWave 30 Under 30 winner.

The NextWave 30 Under 30 program recognizes outstanding young professionals who are making an impact across the breakbulk and project cargo industry while representing the next generation of industry leaders.

Being selected for this recognition is an exciting accomplishment, and the entire TRT International team is proud to see Tyler included among this year’s honorees.

In his role at TRT International, Tyler works closely with customers and our operations teams to develop logistics solutions for shipments that often require much more than standard transportation. From coordinating drayage and specialized equipment to supporting heavy haul and project cargo requirements, his work reflects the hands-on, customer-focused approach that is central to TRT International.

Tyler’s recognition also reflects something that is extremely important to our company: investing in the next generation of logistics professionals.
