Savannah, Georgia — our brand-new warehouse
Our newest facility is in Savannah, Georgia: a brand-new 316,800-square-foot warehouse on a 30-acre site, built to give oversized and project cargo room to move. The Savannah warehouse anchors TRT in the Southeast, close to the Port of Savannah, and gives shippers a large-footprint option for receiving, storing, staging, and transloading big and heavy freight — including outdoor storage for out-of-gauge cargo that cannot go inside a standard warehouse bay. Together with our Savannah drayage operation, the facility lets cargo come off the vessel, move a short distance to secure storage, and be prepared for onward transport under one roof and one team.
Newark, New Jersey — headquarters and Port Zone warehouse
In Newark, TRT operates 150,000 square feet of warehouse space in total — a 120,000-square-foot warehouse anchored on 20 acres of yard space in the Port of Newark, plus a 30,000-square-foot warehouse with loading docks built for specialized cargo handling. The Newark warehouses sit in Port Newark-Elizabeth, with 24/7 security and outdoor storage for out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo. All TRT warehouses have state-of-the-art surveillance and 24-hour security guards, so cargo is safe and secured while it is with us. The Newark location is also home to our bonded Container Freight Station (CFS), so in-bond cargo can be received and held close to the terminal.
